Hi everyone,

I have an issue to discuss regarding my Access 2007 database. Basically the problem is with the Access form that won’t allow me add any new records.

I have tried deleting the form and the macros.   But nothing worked to troubleshoot this issue. Please tell me what I am missing. Any help you could lend would be greatly appreciated.

Luckily access provides much more user-friendly data entry techniques using the forms.

  1. Select the Forms tab on the database menu.
  2. Make double tap to the Create form by using wizard.
  3. Now use the >> button for selecting entire fields in the table.
  4. Click the Next button to continue.
  5.  Select the form layout that you’d like. Justified is a good, attractive starting point, but each layout has its pros and cons. Pick the most appropriate layout for your environment.

Remember, it’s just a starting point, and you may modify the actual form appearance later in the process.

  1. Click the Next button to continue.
  2. Choose a style, and click the Next button to continue.
  3. Assign title to the form and then select the most suitable radio button to either open the form in data entry mode or layout mode.
  4. Tap to the Finish button to create your form.

Try the following steps to resolve this issue Form will not allow new data issue in Access Database.
